Colleagues

I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to a couple of colleagues that I really recommend.

First up, there’s Plum Grove Cyclery. This is a great bike shop located in Leesburg, run by two of the most amazing guys you’ll ever meet: Mike and Tom. They offer a wide range of products and services, and they’re always willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. If you’re in the Leesburg area and you need anything bike-related (other than steel frame repairs, mods and custom fabrication), I highly recommend giving Plum Grove Cyclery a try.

Next, I want to tell you about VeloPigs, a bike club that rides on the gravel roads of Loudoun County. This “Beer & Bike Social Club” is super inclusive and welcoming, and it’s a great way to meet some awesome people who share your love of cycling and to ride some of the best gravel roads in the US. They have rides of different lengths and levels of difficulty (Party Pace, Business Casual Pace and The Business Pace), so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or looking to have some fun, VeloPigs is a great group to ride with.

Another great one is EX2 Adventures, a racing company run by Andy Bacon. They specialize in organizing a variety of outdoor events including Mountain biking, trail running, adventure races and the highly popular Loudoun County 1725 Gravel Grinder race. The races they organize are challenging and adventurous, covering some of the most beautiful and rugged terrain in the East Coast. The races are well-organized and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a new outdoor racing experience and to push your limits, I highly recommend checking out EX2 Adventures.

I hope you’ll check out these amazing colleagues of mine, and I hope to see you out on a ride soon!
